Agents work from the context they can access: conversation history, channel and DM knowledge, meeting notes, connected apps, skills, and uploaded files.
Channel and DM knowledge stores durable facts such as decisions, owners, and working agreements. Agents update it as the conversation changes, so later runs do not need the same background again.
Admins can open Agents, choose Create, then use Upload Files to add organization files. Supported types are .txt, .pdf, and .docx. Organization files are available as context to all workspace agents.
To narrow an individual agent’s context, choose its conversations, apps, skills, and attached files from the agent settings. Access always follows workspace and conversation permissions.
