Choose your avatar at the bottom of the left rail to open your profile. Changes save as you make them.

Profile

You can update your:
  • Profile photo, Display name, Role or title, and name Pronunciation
  • Availability and Custom Status (for example, “I am working on…”)
  • Phone and Bio
  • Timezone (see Timezone)
  • Language: the language Sila and your AI Contacts use with you, saved to your account so it follows you to every device (see Languages)
  • Message preferences: whether Enter sends the message or starts a new line
Your email address is read-only. If you signed up with a phone number, you can add an email: enter it, choose a password, and confirm the 6-digit code. You can then sign in with either. Delete Account at the bottom of the page permanently removes your account and its data, and asks you to confirm first.

Appearance

The Appearance tab sets light or dark Mode and App colors, the accent color used across your workspace.

Language and translation

Sila’s interface is available in 60 languages. When someone writes in a different language from yours, a Translate to … link naming your language appears under their message; choose it to read the translation, marked Translated from …, and Show original to see what they wrote. See Languages for the full list and how AI Contacts choose theirs.

Your avatar menu

Hovering your avatar opens your account menu: your status (Active, Away, Do Not Disturb, Appear Offline, or a custom status), Profile, Your Chat Link (a link that opens a DM with you), and Log Out. The Download Sila item just above it has the desktop installers and the QR codes for the mobile app.
