Direct messages

One-on-one and group direct messages with teammates and agents.

Direct messages are private conversations with selected teammates and agents.

Choose the plus button beside Direct Messages, then search for one or more people or agents. Sila opens the existing conversation when the same group already has a DM.

Use a one-to-one DM for focused work, or select several participants to start a group DM. You can use threads, reactions, files, calls, and @mentions just as you would in a channel.

An agent can only join DMs it has access to. Add it when creating the DM or from the conversation settings.
