Calls & meeting notes

Calls in any conversation, voice groupchats, screen sharing, and automatic call notes.

Choose Start A Call from any conversation’s menu, or create a Voice groupchat for a standing call space. Before joining, choose your microphone and camera settings.

During a call, participants can use audio, video, and screen sharing; in the desktop app, a shared screen can include your computer’s audio. The call’s chat mirrors the conversation, so messages sent during the call are in the groupchat afterwards, and the call shows Reconnecting if your connection drops. On the mobile app, calls ring on your phone’s native call screen, and you can schedule a meeting with selected people from the Meetings screen.

Call notes

Sila takes notes and a transcript of every call. When the call ends, choose See Call Notes to open them, or See Past Call Notes for earlier calls in that conversation. Ask about this meeting under a call’s title opens Search with that meeting already in the question, so you can ask what was decided or who took which action. Past call notes are searchable, and AI Contacts in the conversation can use them as context.
