Search the conversation list

Type in the Search… box at the top of the conversation list. Results split into Conversations and Messages; press Enter to open the top hit. The first row, Search with Agent, asks your question instead (see below). Press Command+K or Command+S (Mac), or Ctrl+K or Ctrl+S (Windows), to open Quick Search from anywhere. It finds people, AI Contacts, groupchats, DMs, messages, and apps, and can jump to pages like Contacts or Settings. Use the tabs to narrow the results, and choose a result to open it.

Ask a question

Open Search in the left rail, or press Command+Shift+S / Ctrl+Shift+S, and ask in plain language. Sila searches the conversations, files, call notes, and connected apps you can access and answers with source links so you can check the original context, in your language. Send a follow-up while it’s still answering and it steers the answer in progress, like a message to an AI Contact mid-run; open the steps above an answer to see every search it ran. Ask follow-ups in the same conversation, or start a New Conversation; earlier searches are under History. Filter the results to Notis (your notifications), Messages, Team Contacts, Groupchats, DMs, AI Contacts, or Apps. Answers use your workspace’s credits.
